Soap Loaf Cutter Instructions

The cutter works best when the soap is not too hard.  Cut between 24 to 36 hours from the time you unmold the soap.  If the soap is too soft, you will not get a clean cut and if it’s too hard, the wire may break.

To cut loafs/strips:  Take soap out of the mold (cutter works best with our Custom Wooden Soap mold) and set on end with the 8-3/4” end on the working surface.  Take the cutter and turn it upside down.  Pass it through the end and across the soap to make a loaf/strip of soap 8-3/4” long and 3-1/2” wide.  Pass it through the block again and you will have 3 equal strips ready to be cut into bars.

Bars can be cut with a knife, our Wavy Cutter or our Soap Bar Cutter.
