A sinfully fat free way to enjoy the decadence of chocolate!
1 Cup
Baking
Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate)
1/2 Cup
Citric Acid
1/2 Cup Corn Starch
2 1/2 Tablespoons
Grapeseed Oil, or any light carrier oil
1-2 Teaspoons of
Chocolate Fragrance Oil
3 Teaspoons
Dark Brown Iron Oxide
2-4 ozs of Witch Hazel in a spray bottle
Kiss Molds
- 2 ozs each
foil & tags

Recipe makes approx. 12-14 (2 oz) bath bombs
Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl until blended. We used a Magic
Bullet™
to achieve an ultra fine mixture and an excellent blend of the brown oxide
into the white powders. The finer the mixture is, the smoother the
bath bomb will be. Return the blended dry ingredients to the bowl
and add the grapeseed oil and chocolate fragrance in a drizzle throughout
the bowl.
Start spritzing the witch hazel lightly over the entire mixture, being
careful not to activate the citric acid too much. Continue to
moisten the mixture until it sticks together easily. Start filling
the mold/s, pressing firmly to fill all the gaps. Let dry several
hours. Turn out the bombs and wrap in small pieces of foil with
a gift tag. Drop in the bath for a delightful soak.
The Magic Bullet can be purchased at Walgreen's
Pharmacy or online.
