These Halloween handouts or party favors will be a favorite among kids as well as moms!

Supplies Needed: (makes approx. 21-30 triangles)

3 lbs of white melt & pour glycerin soap base
9" L x 3" W x 2" D  Rubbermaid™ Drawer Liner to use as a mold
Yellow and Orange water-based soap dye
Fragrance Oil ( we used Vanilla)
Glass measuring cup
Spray bottle with alcohol
Cellophane (Cello) bags
Black cording or ribbon
Plastic spider rings

** Layering Technique - moderately difficult

Put 1 cup of soap base into glass measuring cup and melt in your microwave.  (Do not
overheat or boil).  Add several drops of yellow dye until the desired shade is achieved. 
Next, stir in 1/2 tsp of fragrance oil and pour your first layer into the drawer liner.  Let this
layer cool until a thin skin is formed on the top.

In the meantime, melt another cup of soap base, and add the fragrance,  but do not add
any color. 

Now, lightly spray the top of the yellow layer with alcohol before pouring the second layer
(white).  This will allow the layers to adhere to each other.  Slowly,  pour the white layer
over the yellow, making sure to keep it moving while pouring, so the layers will not blend
together. 

Repeat the steps for the last layer (orange).  Let cool several hours and unmold.

Cut log into 1 ˝" slices and then cut each slice into three triangles. 

Place the finished soaps into cello bags the tie with cording and spider.

Any leftovers or scraps can be used to embed in clear melt and pour soap or remelted. 

Be sure to label these treats 'SOAP' - DO NOT EAT
